Shyeem grew up in Vancouver and always had an eye for design. He has been skateboarding since an early teen which is what got him interested into graphic design. Seeing the variety of graphics on each and every board inspired him to one day be able to create some like the ones he’s seen. He’s also always been interested in fashion. Working at the local skate-shop Stiffy’s Boardshop, he had the chance to create some designs and logos for their apparel. This further sparked his interest in actually turning his talent into a career and going to school to further improve his skills.
School helped him pursue his dreams of creating his own clothing line PoCo Productions that he hopes expands into a big streetwear brand that you see today.
